The inconsistent weather over the past couple weeks has kept away from the spring trout fishing. However, from what I’ve heard, the fishing has been good at Little and Long Pond. As usual, power bait seems to be working the best, and shiners have been very productive. A few mackerel have moved into the Gurnet, but I haven’t heard of any big stripers caught in the area.
